About me
I once read a quote, something along the lines of; life is the university and my tombstone will be my degree. This really resonated with me as that is exactly how I live my life, as a constant unfolding of life lessons. Being a mother to 4 children before I turned 30, and later my number 5 (second time around now tween daughter, has given me no end of life experiences!

I love conversation about life, the universe and everything which led me to degrees in philosophy and sociology which I undertook from age 30 (because I obviously had too much time on my hands with 4 kids under 5 at the same time!

I am particularly interested in Eastern philosophy which led me to yoga / Ayurveda and a love of INDIA. I have travelled there many times, even taking up Hindi for a 2 year stint because I don’t do things in halves. My passion for this culture resulted in a successful 12 year home fragrancing enterprise based around the luscious perfumes of India until recently when life had a new plan for me and I found myself really excited about the prospect of making a vocation around love.

How celebrancy found me
Recently I had the pleasure of experiencing all the festivities of my own wedding A little older, a little wiser, but this second time rounder had a ball. And no, it wasn’t a simple down-played event. We did it all. We had the bridesmades, the groomsmen, (our combined 9 children), flower girls and a quaint country Church ceremony. We drank champagne, we caught up with loved ones not seen since pre-covid and DJ vibes played by 20 somethings were no deterrent to the 80 somethings on the dance floor. What a blast.

I realised that it doesn’t matter what stage of life we find ourselves at, love, is love. The vibe of love and joy uplifts and emanates at a wedding and everyone there benefits. That’s why I decided to take up the call, and get myself registered so that I could facilitate these beautiful experiences myself. To be able to guide this experience according to your vision is my pleasure. How lucky I am to have the celebration of love and connection as my vocation!
My philosophy
This may be your first, your last, or whatever number in-between, it is irrelevant. A marriage commitment shows the willingness to give it your all, to strive for the ultimate loving partnership no matter what curve balls life may throw at us as the years progress.

Second-time marriages are a testament to the power of love and the resilience of the human spirit. And they often come with the added bonuses of 'baggage' or what I refer to as 'a life well lived'. In these unique circumstances, you may wish to acknowledge past relationships and experiences that have gifted you with children from previous relationships, with blended families and experiences that have led you to where you are today. It is possible to honor this history, whilst celebrating this new and exciting union of new beginnings and second chances.

If my words have resonated with you, we are probably a good match to bring your vision to the reality. I would love to have the opportunity to discuss your wedding plans with you and see if we can together create the dream wedding ceremony that you will look back on with absolute joy.
